First Delivery: Jerseys and Food Donation
On February 3, the first delivery of practice uniforms and food was made to a group of young people belonging to the El Hatillo Table Tennis Team, led by one of its leaders and organizer David Cardozo.
This historic moment marked the beginning of what would become a series of donations across Venezuela, reaching hundreds of young athletes. It was the start of our community work that continues to grow today.
A Community Partnership is Born
The delivery was made at the facilities of the Cultural Center of the Municipality of El Hatillo. Training t-shirts and food kits were delivered to each of its 13 youth members.
It should be noted that all this humble help was made thanks to the efforts of Hitting Science Venezuela, Hitting Science USA, Arcadia Foundation, and McLean Little League.
- McLean Little League: Donated 13 sets of t-shirts to support sports in Venezuela
- Arcadia Foundation: Provided food donations for the athletes
- Hitting Science: Coordinated logistics and delivery
The Team Behind the Mission
All this is thanks to the teamwork of:
- USA: Our founder Amaury Monsalve acting as ambassador to secure help for youth in Venezuela
- Venezuela: Felix Blanco (Director, Rolando Blanco Baseball Academy) and Jose Gerardo Monsalve (Director of Minor Baseball)
This first donation laid the groundwork for subsequent deliveries to table tennis programs in San Agustín, basketball teams, girls kickball, and even soccer clubs.
The Beginning of a Movement
What started with 13 young table tennis players in El Hatillo has grown into a movement reaching 100+ young athletes across multiple sports and Venezuelan states.
