High Performance Strength Training Programs for Athletes is a program that is designed to improve the physical performance of athletes. This program can be customized to meet the needs of any athlete, and it is one of the most important aspects in an athlete’s life.

Athletes need high levels of strength in order to perform well at their respective sport. There are many different types of strength training programs available on the market today, but not all of them will provide benefits for an athlete.

Our Strength Program is designed for each athlete and their individual needs. It starts with a comprehensive assessment of the athlete’s strengths, limitations, and goals. From there we make adjustments to their program to ensure maximal performance on the field.

 

The Benefits of High Performance Strength Training Programs

A high performance strength program is a program designed to improve the following physical and mental aspects:

  • Muscle mass
  • Endurance
  • Flexibility
  • Protection from injury 
  • Bone density
  • Strength

A High performance strength program will be composed of some or all of the following:

  • repetition testing for individual muscle groups
  • Increased volume for each muscle group
  • Increasing intensity in training sessions (harder sets, heavier loads, more repetitions)
  • Varied training stimuli (a variety of movements/efforts)-rest periods that are long enough between work sets to allow for effective recovery-regular cardiovascular training
  • Strength endurance and power programs
  • Flexibility program to maintain muscle strength and hypertrophy.
