Wild Bill, Hitting Science and Basketball: Bringing Hope to Young Athletes
When we decided to help in our hometown, we didn’t anticipate the impact we would have on the lives of so many young people or the hope we would bring to others.
From Baseball to Basketball: Expanding Our Mission
This delivery began with our first visit back in February, during which we made the third donation of uniforms thanks to McLean Little League. At the time, we never imagined that the need in this area of Caracas was so bad. I remember my dad, Gerardo Monsalve, telling me that we had to come back. The kids in this low-income area need our help.
I remember that we had the Wild Bill uniforms ready for another area in Venezuela, but when I heard that we were talking about girls’ basketball teams, I didn’t hesitate to go ahead and complete the mission.
