Why You Should Consider Enrolling Your Child in a Winter Baseball Camp This Year
To me, the main reason to enroll your child in a winter baseball camp is to increase their knowledge and understanding of the game. It would be a great opportunity for them to learn from an experienced coach and make friends with other kids that share the same interest. It would be also beneficial to have your child attend a baseball camp where they will have access to skills training and batting practice as opposed to just practices for an hour or two on days when there is field time. It can also provide a way for your child to make new friends.

Why Youth Teams Need Strength Training for Dynamic Performance
Youth strength training, high school strength training
College strength training, youth conditioningIntroduction:No team can play dynamic and powerful offense with a lack of strength. Youth athletes are often given the option to either participate in sport-specific conditioning or weightlifting. Many coaches believe that doing both is too time consuming, expensive and difficult for most youth teams to do.
Because of these concerns, many youth teams have chosen to focus on sport-specific conditioning rather than weightlifting. This can lead to a dynamic offense that cannot make up for its lack of strength.Of course, the most common way to develop strength is through weightlifting. There are many ways to do this and here are a few examples:-CrossFit (This was the first way I learned how to train). This method is intense, yet effective in developing strength across all body parts-Kettlebells (a great alternative is just using bigger kettlebells) -Bodyweight exercises such as pushups, pull -ups, and squats -Weight training in general-Music:I’m the Top Gun AnthemCatch!
